I wasn't sure whether I would admit this, or not, but fine, we're all friends here, let's do it: I love Hacks so much that when I went back to university to do an MA, in Environmental Humanities, I used an episode of it - the one where Ava and Deborah get lost in the woods - as a loose framework for my dissertation. The dissertation was about portable technology, the environment and, ahem, "the condition of digitality", but I've revealed enough, so I'll spare you the gory details.
